This patch addresses a problem in gcc on platforms where gcc has been compiled
with "-fno-vtable-thunks" and using gnu's glibc.  Freebsd 4.1 is such a system.
This patch was supplied by Peter Dufault and should be applied to gcc.

The symptom of this problem is that scram will segfault on even the simplest
of designs.
