Fixed a couple of simulation time errors.

Fixed a bug with building array slices. The objects in the array used to get
cloned rather than being aliases. This would give raise to inconsistencies
when slices were used as targets of assignment operators.

Fixed a big with accessing certain attributes of array type objects which
was giving resulting in incorrect values/attributes being generated.
