Hi! Apparently I had a couple of files out of sync when I cut this version
of the release, and my testing didn't reveal it. I've rolled some new
prereleases that I need to test some more and I'll upload, hopefully this
weekend.
As far as using Debian and gcc 2.95.2 - that's perfect, it's what I develop
on. If you're interested in using egcs 1.1 just for the fun of it, that's
great, let me know how it goes. But it won't resolve the problems you're
seeing.
