OK, I've cut another set of prereleases that appear to resolve some of the
simulation issues that the last had. They are available at:

http://www.cliftonlabs.com/savant/download/2.0-prerelease

I've also stuck a file called "sequential.cfg" there. You'll need this
file to execute simulations. You should also note that my next checkin on
the warped development branch is going to be changing the format of this
file, so I'll stick a new one in the same place when that happens. It's a
release goal to make it possible to generate a valid configuration
automatically at runtime, and this is coming along in development.

For clarification, the currently tested configuration uses g++-2.95.2 and
libstdc++-2.10. My next SAVANT development checkin will be close to
supporting the prerelease of g++ 3.0 prerelease (and it's libstdc++), but
not quite there. Flex appears to be generating incompatible c++, and I
haven't looked to see if that issue has been resolved anywhere yet.

Furthermore, we seem to be incompatible with "g++ 2.96" that shipped with
Red Hat 7.0. I realize this is a semi-serious issue, but I'm not sure what
to do about it. Unfortunately RedHat shipped a compiler that came out of
the gcc CVS archive, it's not an official release, and I'm somewhat
hesitant to worry about it. (Plus I don't have access to a machine running
RH 7.0 currently.) I'm open to discussion for how to address this issue,
but I'm tempted to say "we'll support g++ 2.95.x and g++ 3.0", and not
worry about the unofficial version in the middle.

As always, comments, questions, and bug reports welcome. If possible,
please submit bug reports to:
http://www.cliftonlabs.com/bugzilla

Thanks,
        Dale
