Regression runs execute automatically every night, including autoconf and
compilation. I've been working actively on it quite a bit and it all
"Works for Me". Actually the current source packages for Debian compile on
11 architectures so I'm fairly confident the code compiles if you have a
semi-recent version.
Perhaps you could provide some more detail about what version of clutils
you're talking about, what platform you're trying build on, etc?

We have discussed migrating to antlr, but that would put an additional
burden on developers, requiring them to have a working Java system on their
machine in addition to a working C++ compiler. Plus PCCTS is working fine
for us currently and it seems like a case of "don't fix it if it isn't
broken". You probably know that PCCTS is semi-actively maintained even
though antlr is out there.
