I'll check in a fix for this shortly.  Sorry, I should have fixed it a
while back but all of the developers I'm aware of having been working with
one of two branches.

Mainline is pretty broken with respect to simulation right now.  If you
want the latest and greatest (but not the best overall support for
simulation) the branch (for both savant and tyvis) is
"interface_insertion_2002_09_06-branch". 

(So you would do a "cvs update -f interface_insertion_2002_09_06-branch" in
both the savant and tyvis directories.)

We're hoping to merge this branch into mainline relatively soon.  We're in
the process of validating these changes on FreeBSD so we have some idea of
the portability of our current branch.

If you want the best overall simulation performance then you might want to
back off to the last release which was 2003-12-16.  You can get this from
cvs using "cvs update -D 2003-12-16" or get the "official" releases from:
http://www.cliftonlabs.com/savant/download/2.0-prerelease/

Give me an idea of what you're try and I can advise you what is the best
course of action is for you.
